Never Get Locked Out

Because your device holds the keys, losing it shouldn't mean losing your access.

QuantumPass uses a multi-layered recovery approach that maintains our Zero Knowledge architecture. We cannot restore your account for you because we never have your keys—but we provide the tools for you to do it yourself securely.

Recovery Methods

Encrypted Cloud Backup

Automatically backup an encrypted snapshot of your vault to your iCloud or Google Drive.

Client-Side Encryption

Your vault is encrypted with your Master Key before upload.

Platform Agnostic

Works with iCloud (iOS) and Google Drive (Android).

One-Tap Restore

reinstall the app, authenticate with biometrics, and restore.

Emergency Kit

A printable PDF containing a QR code and a 24-word recovery phrase.

Total Offline Access

Recover your account even without cloud backups.

Physical Security

Store it in a safe or safety deposit box.

Master Key Replacement

The only way to reset your biometrics if you are injured or changed.

Social Recovery

Designate trusted friends or family members to help you recover access.

Shamir's Secret Sharing

Your key is split into pieces; no single contact can access your vault.

Threshold Recovery

Require e.g., 2 out of 3 contacts to approve recovery.

Identity Verification

Contacts verify it's really you before granting access.

The "Zero Knowledge" Reality

Because we do not store your keys, QuantumPass cannot reset your account if you lose your device AND have not set up a recovery method. We highly recommend setting up at least two recovery methods immediately upon account creation.
